After my transplant, I was given a new lease on life. I now do everything I can to give back.
America, awaits a kidney transplant.
Registry Confidentiality
The Donate Life New Mexico Donor Registry ensures that your decision to donate is recorded and kept confidential.
The Donate Life New Mexico Registry website and information is maintained by the New Mexico Motor Vehicle Division.
Registry information is made available to New Mexico Donor Services/DCI Donor Services, the federally designated organ procurement organization and accredited tissue bank, and New Mexico Lions Eye Bank, the accredited eye bank serving New Mexico.
Registry information may be requested and shared with organ and tissue procurement organizations when a death of a registered donor occurs outside of New Mexico, to verify an individual’s donation decision.
You are assured of complete privacy. Only a few select members of New Mexico Donor Services/DCI Donor Services and New Mexico Lions Eye Bank have access to the registry database. Personal information in the registry is not shared or sold to any company or government agency.
The authenticity of the registrant is determined using the confirmation email, address, date/time of registration, and personal information requested during the signup process, or the documentation provided at the time of obtaining or renewing a New Mexico driver’s license or ID card. The legal next-of-kin is consulted at the time of donation and verify the donor’s information at that time.
Due to federal privacy laws prohibiting the collection of personal information for individuals under age 13, the Donate Life New Mexico Donor Registry website is unable to accept registration for children 12 and under.
